Bobbit worms are one of the biggest nopes of the ocean. The large
worms dig themselves burrows on the ocean floor and then wait for prey
to swim by. When they sense something good to eat is near, they strike
lightning fast with sharp teeth and deadly venom. While humans are
rarely their prey, the occasional bobbit worm bite has been reported.
That being said, there are some out there who make a hobby out of catching the creepy-crawlies. In the video below, YouTuber Trapula
shows how he catches bobbit worms using a device very similar to a
mouse trap. It's a little on the long side, but stick with it. The
payoff is well worth it.

Hamburger Skillet Supper
How to make Hamburger Skillet Supper
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles (I prefer beef flavor)
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups vegetables (frozen mixed veggies, thawed; peas and corn work perfect!)
Directions
- In a skillet, cook beef until no longer pink; drain.
- Add noodles with contents of seasoning packet and water.
- Bring to a boil; cook for 3 minutes or until noodles are tender.
- Add the veggies and cook until tender, about 3 minutes as well.
- Makes about 4 servings.
- Here is another way to do it: Cook the beef as stated previously. During this time, heat up a saucepan of water to cook the ramen noodles in. Rather than just using 1 packet, use 2 packets of the beef flavor ramen noodles. When cooking the noodles, cook them without the flavoring. During this time, (after you drain the ground beef) add the veggies to the meat and continue to cook. As the veggies become cooked, add the two packets of flavoring to the beef-veggie mixture. The ramen noodles don't take long to cook, so be sure to watch them. When they are done, drain them, and add them to the beef-veggie mixture. The completed dish will have more flavor, and more noodles for the noodle lovers! Enjoy!

The story of A Greek Dog Rescue Found This Shepherd In Desperate Need Of Help
SPAZ, a Greek rescue organization, was alerted that a very sick stray dog was near Athens, Greece.
The shepherd most likely was a sheep dog at one point, but now he
was sick and struggling to survive on his own. It took a while to locate
the dog once they arrived. When they saw him, their hearts broke.
The dog was extremely fearful and refused to let the humans get close.
Because of this, the rescuers had to lace food with tranquilizer. After an hour of tracking the dog, he finally laid down.
Although he was still terrified, he didn't put up a fight.
The dog remained calm, even during the car ride to the vet. He
had one ear cut off, he was infested with both fleas and ticks, he'd
lost most of his hair, and he had various injuries all over his body.
When you see the shape he was in, you'll be in tears.

See he was Attacked By A Jungle Cat And Barely Lived To Tell The (Adorable) Tale
"I've never had my ear licked before by an ocelot -- first time for
everything," is one of the things that actually came out of Coyote
Peterson's mouth during a real-life encounter with a young jungle cat.
While roaming around in the rainforests of Costa Rica doing things
that someone named Coyote Peterson would definitely do, the adventurer
and his companion were stopped in their tracks by a baby ocelot with
seemingly insatiable bloodlust...or a strong desire to play with some
weird-looking animals. Either one.
While picking up wild animals with sharp teeth is never really a
good idea, there's no harm in watching someone else do it, right?

OMG Bobbit Worms Are Pure Nope, So Why Would You Want To Catch One? I Have No Idea.
According to Trapula,
he catches bobbit worms to use as bait to catch bigger fish. In the
video description he says, "I'm catching bobbit worms for my fishing
needs and that's the only reason I catch them [...] fish just can't
resist them."

The story of A NYU Student Shot This Terrifying Video Of The 9/11 Attacks From Their Dorm
The story of A NYU Student Shot This Terrifying Video Of The 9/11 Attacks From Their Dorm
It's been nearly 15 years since the World Trade Center towers were attacked by terrorists.
The events of September 11, 2001, were horrifyingly tragic. When the
towers fell and innocent people were killed, it changed the lives of
countless people both in the United States and abroad. The attacks
created a moment in time that can never be forgotten. Most U.S. citizens, no matter their age, can distinctly remember what they were doing when the planes hit the towers. Many people were at work, school, or just getting ready to leave for the day.
The NYU student that filmed this video will certainly never forget exactly what happened.
Watching the violence and chaos on television was traumatizing
enough, but imagine being a young student in the city, close enough to
clearly see the towers. In the video, you can hear their frightened
reactions and panicked calls home. This is a perspective that not many
people have seen of the 9/11 attacks.
The video that Caroline filmed may be hard to watch.
Many remember only the news reports, but this video gives more weight to the terrible tragedy.
The
people that lost their lives that day will never be forgotten, and this
rare perspective of the terrorist attacks reminds us to more fiercely
honor their memories. Years may desensitize people to what really
happened, but this rare video shows us the horror and truth of that
fateful day.
Just When You Thought Taxidermy Couldn't Get Any Creepier, This Happens full story
Just When You Thought Taxidermy Couldn't Get Any Creepier, This Happens full story
Taxidermy as it functions today mostly falls into the hobbyist realm,
and very few professionals out there make a living with this bizarre
art form. Back in its heyday, however, experimentalists went wild and
let their imaginations run free.
They liked to take things a step
further, and they created some seriously weird stuff in the process.
Just take this dancing fox, for example. It looks just as crazy as it
sounds.
Talk about nightmare fuel.
Everything about this video is
creeping me out. I respect taxidermists, but I think the person
responsible for this thing went a little too far.
Here Are The 10 Most Insane Creatures To Ever Wash Ashore -- The Ocean Is Terrifying
Here Are The 10 Most Insane Creatures To Ever Wash Ashore -- The Ocean Is Terrifying
There are a lot weird things lurking in the ocean, possibly waiting
to destroy any unsuspecting humans foolish enough to get in their way.
Some of the most mysterious unexplained mysteries of the ocean are weird
"blobs" or "globs" that seem to continually wash up on beaches around
the world.
While most of these are probably decomposing whale
corpses, some of them...well, I'll let you check out the list below and
see for yourself.
1. The St. Augustine Monster
In 1896, this bizarre-looking thing washed up on the coast near
St. Augustine, Florida. According to press accounts from the time, it
was 18 feet long and weighed close to five tons. Researchers debated
about what exactly it was. Their conclusions ranged from it being a
giant squid to being the body of a sea monster. Later research in the
1990s found that the St. Augustine Monster was most certainly the corpse
of a dead sperm whale.
2. Trunko
This massive blob washed ashore in Margate, South Africa, in
1924. The mass remained on the beach for 10 days, and in that time, not a
single scientist stopped by to take a look. In fact, the only hard
record of the creature in existence is the photograph above.
3. The New Zealand Globster
This gross mass washed ashore on New Zealand's North Island. At
the time, the chairman of the zoology department at the University of
Auckland, J. E. Morton, remarked, "I can’t think of anything it
resembles." Not what you want to hear from a dude who studies and works
with animals for a living.
4. The Bermuda Blob
The name of this weird thing actually refers to two separate
blobs that washed ashore in Bermuda in 1988 and 1997. Even though they
looked like sea monsters, these were probably just dead whales.
The story of What These Kids Are Doing In Biology Class Is Entirely Sickening
Anyone who's graduated from an American high school has probably had
the pleasure of dissecting an animal in biology class. Usually frogs are
in the syllabus, but sometimes, the animal of choice is a cat.
Typically, these dissections are treated as solemn and respectful
affairs. Other times, though, they can go off the rails. That's what I'd
like to think is happening in the video below, which shows a biology
class at Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas, using the
intestines of a cat to play jump rope.
Allegedly, the teacher claimed it was to test tensile strength, but I
think there are better ways to do that than by hosting a morbid game of
jump rope.
As you might imagine, PETA is not happy
about what's going on at Winston Churchill High School. They've
allegedly petitioned the school district to take action against the
teacher. So far, as of this writing, district officials are defending
the teacher and students.

We All Made Sand Art As Kids, But What This Guy Does Is On Another Level
Was I the only one who slayed the sand-art game back in the day? Probably not.
I remember my mom and dad covering the kitchen table and letting me
have at it as a kid, at which point I proceeded to fill hollow stars and
ponies with sand in every color under the sun. Were they museum-worthy
works of art? No. Did my parents cringe a little bit every time I
requested a sand session? You bet. And that's what makes artist Tim Bengel's process so satisfying to watch.
Using
paper, glue, and sand, he creates stunning pieces that are about to
make you feel really bad about your childhood foray into sand art in the
best possible way.
That's right, folks. Bengel creates intricate drawings with
adhesive and pours black and white sand over those drawings to add depth
and pigmentation.
The story of A Redditor Found An Unexpectedly Gross Surprise In Their Blueberries
The story of A Redditor Found An Unexpectedly Gross Surprise In Their Blueberries
When this Reddit user bought a new pack of blueberries, it's a good thing they thought to wash them.
Most people assume that produce is safe to eat without cleaning
first, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Take these blueberries,
for example. In the pack, they probably looked clean enough.
Bsegovia was about to eat the blueberries in a bowl of cereal.
Thankfully, they didn't bite down on this one.
Pro: the fruit wasn't doused in pesticides, so a spider made a little home in the blueberry.
Con: THE SPIDER MADE A HOME IN THE BLUEBERRY.
Most People Don't Know How To Greet A Dog (You Probably Do These Things, Too)
Most People Don't Know How To Greet A Dog (You Probably Do These Things, Too)
It turns out we've been approaching new dogs the wrong way for...well, forever.
If you've ever greeted a pup only to be met with a growl or even a
bite, I hate to break it to you...it's not them, it's you. You see, most
people have no clue how to meet a new dog -- even as a dog owner
myself, I didn't know a few of these don'ts.
So in an effort to educate us all, dog illustrator and lover Lili Chin put together a handy little cheat sheet. If there's one thing
you should walk away knowing it's to never, ever, run up to a dog
squealing and start kissing them on their snout. Even a dog has a
personal bubble, people!
Here's the wrong -- and right -- way to meet a new dog.
Did you know not to hold your hand out? I always do that! But not
anymore. Hopefully we can all be a little more respectful of pooches
from now on
Cute Little Dog Rescued By The Side Of A Dirty Road Turns From Fear To Happiness
Cute Little Dog Rescued By The Side Of A Dirty Road Turns From Fear To Happiness
When you meet Minnie the dog a few words immediately come to mind:
gentle, affectionate, cuddly, friendly, and playful. But that wasn't
always the case. When she was found by the side of a dirty road,
"scared" was the best adjective to describe her.
When animal rescue organization Howl Of A Dog
came across Minnie, she was quite hesitant to trust anyone. Luckily, it
didn't take too long for them to gain her trust and get her the help
she needed from a vet. What they discovered at the animal hospital,
though, crushed my heart...but don't worry, there's a happy ending!

The story of 20 Dogs Who Are So Happy With Themselves, You Won't Be Able To Stop Smiling, Too
When you do something awesome, your confidence goes through the roof.
You can't help but smile, stand a little taller, puff your chest out a
little bit further...and as it turns out, our pups are exactly the same!
Whether they just brought a ball back really efficiently or
sorted the garbage into important piles, these dogs are super proud of
their accomplishments and can't help but wear their pride on their
faces.
1. "Dad! Look what I found!"
2. "No big deal, but I made this little dude."
3. Tugg slays with his new name tag.
4. Jack is a boss K9 cop.
5. "This hole is bigger than all the holes put together."
6. "You're welcome."
7. She chewed a hole in her ball so she could walk around like this.
8. "I graduated. That means it's Mister Fido to you."
9. He worked long and hard to hide this stash until it was ready.
10. "They're ALL mine."
11. "I shall have them all!"
12. Looks like someone already beat him to it...
13. "I know...I don't look a day over two."
14. "Pride with a capital P for pup!"
15. You can't see how proud she is for chewing a hole in her toy, but she is.
16. "I found my forever family!"
17. "I'm kind of a big deal,"...is what I imagine he's trying to say.
18. "I fetched a stick." Well, we'll give him an A for effort.
19. She doesn't care that they look a little different.
20. The look of pure joy -- and probably some exhaustion.
